Bad Skin. We all go through that at some point in our lives, some more severe than others. Here are some tips to get your skin glowing this summer. Listen, my skin is not perfect. I still have some stubborn dark marks, but for 5 months it's a huge improvement from where I come from. Best Tip: Go to a dermatologist! It saves both time and money. They'll tell you your skin type and products for it. I got prescribed Oratane/Roaccutane/Accutane, you can get it over the counter but it's really the plug. Downside about is that it's got hectic side effects so you have to do some research on it to see if you'll be suitable for it. I also got prescribed with Differin Gel. If I have a pimple and I use the gel it's gone the next day, no jokes. Get it. These next products I use to sustain my clear skin.
Tea tree Oil. A must have! It reduces inflammation and dries out your black and white heads. Sunblock is your best friend. Bro every time you step out the house make sure you have it on, no matter the weather. It really helps with clearing dark marks. Tissue oil helps with dark marks too. It's really shinny though so I'd advise using it at night to moisturise. On the note of moisturising. Moisturise!! Dry skin is your worst enemy. Your skin will break out so bad. Try moisturising more than once a day. Drink tons of water, I barely drink water which is terrible. But I can definitely see a difference from when I do and don't. When I drink 6-8 glasses a day my face feels so soft and it glows compared to when I don't. It just looks dull and it dries out quickly. Water is not a cure for acne though, that's a scam. Don't touch your face. Your hands are really dirty, you're only making your skin worse. Also don't pop your pimples too, unless you're Dr Pimple Popper. If you use make up, avoid using it every day.
Give your skin a break. I know it's hard when you're self-conscious but it's for the best. Jojoba oil is a must have, It mimics the skin sebum tricking it to produce less oil, but just like Tissue oil it makes your skin shine, a lot. Aloe Vera gel is also a plug. It's good for your skin overall. It lightens your marks and reduces acne. I use it as a moisturiser. Honey is bomb AF. It contains antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties so it calms redness and irritation. Last but not least. Your diet plays a huge role guys. Eat your fruit and vegetables and I swear you'll wake up with A1 skin. Try ones with a lot of water like cucumber, watermelon, pineapple etc. Clean your inside and it will show outside.
